🔗 Track Sales & Referrals with Affiliate Tracking
Using our built-in Affiliate Tracking feature, you can manage affiliate partners, track ticket referrals, and boost sales. This tool is ideal for working with local influencers, media partners, or brand ambassadors to help promote your event.
🌟 What Affiliate Tracking Lets You Do
- Add affiliate partners (like influencers or vendors)
- Generate custom trackable ticketing links
- Monitor visits, orders, conversions, and total sales
- Export performance data to CSV or Excel
👥 Step 1: Add an Affiliate Partner
- Navigate to your event's Affiliate Tracking tab.
- Click "Add Affiliate".
- Enter the affiliate's Full Name, optional Nickname, and Email Address.
- Click Add.
Once added, the affiliate will appear on your list and be available to assign unique tracking codes.
🔗 Step 2: Generate a Tracking Link
In the Affiliate Codes tab, click "Add Tracking Code".
Choose a:
- Common code (usable across all events)
- Event-specific code (limited to a single event)
- Enter a Tracking Code name (e.g.,
googleads,atlfoodie, etc.). - Select the affiliate from the dropdown.
- Click Add Tracking Code.
Your new tracking link will be generated using this format:
https://www.bigtickets.com/e/[event-name]/?affiliate=YOURCODE
You can now send this link to your partner to start tracking their referrals.
📊 Step 3: Track Affiliate Performance
Once your event goes live, you can monitor each affiliate's activity directly from the Affiliate Tracking dashboard.
Metrics include:
- Visits from their link
- Orders completed
- Tickets Sold
- Conversion Rate
- Total Sales
📁 Step 4: Export Affiliate Data
Click Export to download affiliate performance reports in CSV or Excel formats for deeper analysis or payout tracking.
✅ Pro Tips
- Use clear, memorable affiliate codes (like
influencername,podcast2025, etc.). - You can create multiple codes per affiliate for tracking campaigns across different events.
- Filter or sort by performance to quickly identify top partners.
