Customize your event page with background images, theme colors, and more
Add a page brand to customize your event page using theme colors, background images, and more! Page brands can be applied to more than one event, and you can even apply it to your directory listing. Follow the steps below to create a page brand and apply it to your event.
Step 1: Create a page brand
1. Go to My Events > Website Branding and click Add Brand.
2. Choose a name for your brand and pick a theme color.
3. Customize the page header:
- The Logo Image is displayed on the mobile version of your page.
- Link the Logo Image to your event website (optional). Enter the website address into the Logo Link field.
- The Header Image (optional) is displayed at the top of the page on the desktop version only. If no Header Image is uploaded then the Logo Image will be displayed on both desktop and mobile versions of your page.
- Add hyperlinks to the header image using the Header Image Map (optional).
4. Add a background image (optional) and adjust settings as desired:
- Background Image - Displays around the main content. There is no height or width restriction.
- Background Image - Repeat
repeat - repeats background image across the whole page (horizontally and vertically)
repeat-x - repeats the background image horizontally
repeat-y - repeats the background image vertically
no-repeat - background image is not repeated
- Background Image - Position - Choose where you want the background image to appear on the page.
- Background Image - Size
auto - stretches the background image to fill the entire page
auto 100% - stretches the background image horizontally but not vertically
100% auto - stretches the background image vertically but not horizontally
100% 100% - choose this option to keep the background image at its original size
- Background Image - Movement
scroll - both the background image and the content will move as your scroll down the page
fixed - the background image will remain static, while the content will move over the image as your scroll down the page
- Background Color - The background color will appear in the available space behind header or background images
5. Add a footer image (optional) and adjust settings as desired:
- Footer Image - displays at the bottom of the page below the main content (on the desktop version only).
- Footer Image Map - add hyperlinks to the Footer Image
- Background Image - appears behind the footer image
- Background Image - Repeat
repeat - repeats background image across the whole page (horizontally and vertically)
repeat-x - repeats the background image horizontally
repeat-y - repeats the background image vertically
no-repeat - background image is not repeated
- Background Image - Position - choose where you want the background image to appear within the footer
- Background Image - Size
auto - stretches the background image to fill the entire footer area
auto 100% - stretches the background image horizontally but not vertically
100% auto - stretches the background image vertically but not horizontally
100% 100% - choose this option to keep the background image at its original size
- Background Color - the background color will appear in the available space behind the footer images
Step 2: Apply page brand to an event
1. Go to My Events > Manage Events [1] and click on the event name to edit [2].
2. Select the Customize tab at the top of the screen to view Event Branding Setup and choose the brand name from the dropdown menu.
3. Click Save Event at the bottom right to save your changes.
