Set up an automatic price change

Add a scheduled price change to automatically increase or decrease the ticket price on a preset date, or once a certain number of tickets are sold.

Scheduled price changes are useful for motivating purchasers to get their tickets early. For example you can offer a discounted price for the first 500 tickets sold, or offer a discount for buying tickets early.ed ticket price if purchased by a certain date. Read on to learn how to create a scheduled price change.

Step 1: Go to your event edit page

Go to My Events > Manage Events and click on the event name to edit.

Step 2: Open Advanced ticket settings

Click on the Tickets tab [1] to edit ticket settings. Click Advanced [2] next to the ticket type name.

Step 3: Add price change

Scroll down to Scheduled Price Changes. Enter the new price [1] and choose whether to trigger the price change at a specific date and time, or based on the number of tickets sold [2]. Click Add [3] to save. Click Done to exit Advanced ticket settings.

Click Save Event before exiting event setup to save your updates.
