Get started by indicating how many tickets should be held for public sale. Go to My Events > Manage Events

Select your Event, Go to the Tickets tab and select Manage Holds

  • Create a hold name
  • Set expiration date (optional and expires end of day on specified date)
  • Select hold number by ticket type

Selling Tickets from Hold Inventory

You can create access codes to give purchasers access to the tickets on hold. This guarantees that tickets will be available for these purchasers, regardless of if the public inventory sells out.
Create an access code by selecting the pulldown menu on the right and then select + Add Access Code

  • Create a unique access code name
  • Select the number of tickets or seats you want to release
  • Apply a discount if applicable for your use case
  • Select when the access code starts and ends

Once the access code is created you'll have the option to share a private link that will automatically apply the ticket hold and release the tickets to the purchaser.
