🔄 Using Sub-Accounts in Big Tickets

Sub-Accounts are the best way to keep things organized under one login if you manage several events, venues, or teams within a single organization while those individual teams only have access to their designated sub-account. If you're looking for info about managing entirely separate organizations (like different clients), check out our guide to Client Accounts →

🧩 What Are Sub-Accounts?

Sub-Accounts live under a single client account. They're ideal for:

  • Multi-location event organizers
  • Organizations that have distinct teams and/or branded festivals
  • Teams that share staff across brands/events

Each Sub-Account can have its own dashboard, reports, and permission settings.

📸 View and Compare Ticket Sales Across Years

From the All Accounts dashboard, use the graph to compare ticket sales across multiple years. Toggle between “Aggregate” and “Increment” views to see trends, pacing, and year-over-year performance across all your linked events or organizations.

✅ What You Can Do With Sub-Accounts

  • Switch between Sub-Accounts using the dropdown menu
  • Customize access for each team member per Sub-Account
  • Track ticket sales and reports for that account
  • Send funds to a different payout account for each Sub-Account (if enabled)

🔐 Managing Sub-Account Permissions

Admins can control which sub-accounts users can access and which tools they can use.

To update permissions:

  1. Click your name in the top right
  2. Select Manage Users
  3. Choose the user and check the sub-accounts and permissions to assign
